Adam Adach is a French-Polish artist, born in 1962 in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, in Poland. After graduating in veterinary medicine in Warsaw, he emigrates to France in the late 1980s to pursue art studies. He graduates ‘summa cum laude’ from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1995.

In his paintings, Adach intertwines personal memories and collective historical experiences often related to the 20th century totalitarian regimes in Europe. His main artistic activity is painting, but includes drawing, photography, video and installation.

He also works with children in psychiatric hospitals and in communities for the disabled (L’Arche, France and the UK), where he conducts therapy through art. He lives and works in Paris and Warsaw.
